FDA green light sends Nanogen shares surging
Nanogen Inc. (Nasdaq: NGEN, News) announced Wednesday that it has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its StatusFirst CHF NT-proBNP EDTA plasma test to aid in the diagnosis of individuals suspected of having congestive heart failure (CHF).
Uniden busts out new plasma and LCD displays
We’re fairly sure these aren’t due for the states in any regular capacity, but the new displays from Uniden are looking fairly nice. Their LCD offerings, the 42v and 37v, both sport 1366×768 resolutions, 1200:1 contrast ratios, and a nice amount of connectors including dual HDMI and dual component.

COLORADO CU grad programs grab top 10 rankings Several graduate programs at Colorado universities fared well in U.S. News & World Report rankings scheduled for release today. Five graduate programs at the University of Colorado at Boulder - including three in the physics department - were rated in the top 10, CU said.
